There are people who find ASEA at the height of success, and others who find it while rebuilding. For BK, ASEA arrived at exactly the right moment: after a winding entrepreneurial journey had brought him back to Singapore nearly starting from zero. A former government scholar and educator, he had built a career around communication, learning, and leadership before becoming a Head of Department and eventually leaving a secure path to pursue entrepreneurship.

That choice led BK through network marketing, internet marketing, private tutoring overseas, and e-commerce. Some ventures worked for a season, but none became the durable business he wanted. Then, in 2017, after his e-commerce business collapsed, a friend introduced him to ASEA. His first reaction was honest: “Bro, if it’s another supplement, I’m not interested.” But ASEA’s patented biotechnology, international expansion potential, and business model made him pause. After doing his own research, he decided to enroll.

What followed was not an overnight success story, but a better one: a story of persistence, growth, and leadership. He reached Platinum relatively early, then remained there for years while his organization and income continued to grow. Eventually, he realized comfort had become its own obstacle. With support from his mentor and his team, he recommitted to growth, reaching Diamond in September 2024 and Double Diamond in December 2025.

 

Still, the achievements BK values most are not only his ranks, but the leaders and organizations he has helped build across Singapore, Malaysia, Thailand, and beyond. His teaching background continues to serve him well: he has a gift for making complex ideas simple, encouraging action, and helping others see new possibilities in themselves.

His motto, “Take Massive Imperfect Actions,” captures the way he builds. He believes progress comes not from waiting for the perfect plan, but from making the call, sending the message, giving the presentation, following up, learning, adjusting, and acting again. It is a practical philosophy rooted in courage and consistency.

Today, ASEA fits naturally into the international lifestyle BK loves. His business has travelled with him through Asia, allowing him to study Japanese in Tokyo, work with leaders across markets, explore photography, enjoy good coffee, and stay curious about emerging fields like artificial intelligence. For him, freedom means choosing what he does, when he does it, and who he does it with.

Perhaps what makes BK’s story most compelling is that he still sees himself as a work in progress. He joined ASEA while rebuilding, and he continues to build—with people, across borders, and toward new levels of possibility. For him, “I am ASEA” means believing there is always another level to reach, and having the courage to keep moving toward it.
